Spring Fair Fun!

Thank you to all of our students, families, staff, and volunteers who helped make this year’s Spring Fair such a memorable event. From the games and activities to the food, music, and smiling faces, the evening was a joyful celebration of the strong sense of community that makes our school so special.
Events like the Spring Fair remind us of the power of coming together to connect, celebrat
e, and create lang memories. As we near the end of another successful school year, it was heartwarming to see our community enjoying time together and reflecting on all that we have accomplished.
This year’s Spring Fair was especially meaningful as we marked two decades of learning, growth, and connection at our school. Thank you for helping us honour this milestone in such a fun and spirited way.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and enthusiasm to make the evening a success. The support of our school community is what makes events like this possible.
Track and Field Day
Our students enjoyed a fantastic day of movement, competition, and school spirt at this year’s Track and Field Day. From sprints to jumping and throwing events, students gave their best effort and demonstrated determination in every activity.
Throughout the day, students encouraged one another, celebrated personal achievements, and showed outstanding sportsmanship. Whether they were competing in an event or cheering from the sidelines, their enthusiasm and positive energy were on full display.
Thank you to our staff for organizing this special event and to the student volunteers who assisted throughout the day. Track and Field Day is always a highlight of the season and an excellent opportunity for students to build confidence, stay active, and enjoy healthy competition together.
Congratulations to all students and we wish those moving on to compete in the Area Track and Field Event in June bonne chance! Go Eagles!

School Garden in Bloom
Our school garden is looking especially beautiful this spring, with tulips and other flowers now in full bloom. Many of these plants and shrubs were thoughtfully planted by members of our Gardening Club last year, whose hard work continues to brighten our school grounds.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the families who generously give their time to care for the garden outside of school hours. Thank you for helping to keep the garden blooming. This project is a wonderful example of the pride and partnership that make our school community so strong.

ELDER'S MILLS IS A SCENT-FREE/FRAGRANCE FREE LEARNING AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
There are staff & students in attendance who suffer from life-threatening asthmatic conditions to air pollutants. Exposure even to minimal odours may cause potential life-threatening reactions. Very common severe chemical triggers are: perfume, cologne, scented products and personal care products (such as hairspray). These products may cause severe reactions for students. The safety and well-being of all of our staff and students is a priority.
In order to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, we request that our school community refrain from wearing scented personal products at school and all school events. Please ensure that all caregivers and family members are also aware.
